The Warren Street Hotel | Tribeca Hotel Review
The Warren Street Hotel is a luxurious place to stay right in the heart of Tribeca. We rented out two adjoined suites to host a bridal shower in the city – and then stayed the weekend! Our complete review of our experience at the Warren Street Hotel in Tribeca is below 🙂

What Makes the Warren Street Hotel Unique
One of the best & most unique things about the Warren Street Hotel is its fun, colorful interior. The entirety of the hotel was designed and decorated by the eye of Kit Kemp, a British interior designer who specializes in boutique hotels.
The hotel is known for its brightly colored furnishings and omnipresent patterns – making the experience of the Warren Street Hotel feel celebratory just by being there!
Kit Kemp, along with her husband, founded the Firmdale Hotel brand – so if you are looking to get a taste of the Kemp style but the Warren Street Hotel is booked out during the time of your visit to New York you can also check the Crosby Street Hotel & the Whitby Hotel for availability.

Unlike some luxury hotel chains, the Warren Street Hotel does allow for convenient booking through typical online services (you do not need to make the reservation over the phone or in person if you do not so choose). Booking the suites was a smooth process and the staff were extremely helpful throughout the experience, especially given we required adjoining rooms to host our event.

The Location
The Warren Street Hotel is located at 86 Warren Street in the neighborhood of Tribeca within New York City, New York.
I may be biased because I have family who have lived in Tribeca for years, but I truly think Tribeca is one of the nicest neighborhoods you could choose to stay within New York. It is walking distance to the West Side Highway with immediate access to the Hudson River, making it an easy place to get fresh air even while within the bounds of the bustling New York City.
Tribeca also has easy access to public transit to explore other parts of the city, with the Chambers/Greenwich Street stations on the same block as the Warren Street Hotel!
The Suites
The suites within the Warren Street Hotel were comprised of a bedroom, a sitting room, and a bathroom. We specifically booked the suites with private outdoor terraces, so the sitting room and bedroom both had glass doors that opened up to the terrace as well.
The best part of these rooms is that they are an experience. I typically am a person who does not splurge on rooms because most of what I want to do in a city is outside of the hotel – not at the Warren Street though! I could not get enough of the hotel room and all I wanted to do was be there 😀
The Terraces
Outside of the suites, the rooms open up to an outdoor terrace. Each terrace has a sitting table with an umbrella, a garden, and a glass railing to peer over at the street below.
The terraces offer beautiful views of the city skyline – especially at night! The hotel has twinkly lights strung alone the terrace to add ambience in the evening as well.
Since we rented out two adjoining rooms, they were also able to open up the divider between the two to create one large terrace. This was amazing for event hosting and felt very spacious!
We also had them set up a temporary bar for our party, but that would not be there without specific coordination and request.
You can order meals to the room and eat out on the terrace if desired, or you can pop downstairs to the hotel’s famous restaurant!
One of the best parts about having the suite with the terrace was the open view of the city skyline after our event had ended and we climbed into bed for the night. From our cozy beds we could look out and still enjoy the city atmosphere even once we decided we were ready to quiet down for the evening. You can of course close the beautiful curtains over the windows, but we ended up choosing to sleep with the view and wake up to the sunrise in the morning!
The Bathrooms
Another luxurious part of our stay was the bathrooms in the suites. Each bathroom had a bathtub that was clearly made for the perfect bathing experience – if we hadn’t been hosting an event in the suites I would have spent my night in a bubble bath 🙂
They also had warming racks for the towels to rest on so that they were dry and warm when you were ready to use them, along with plush bathrobes for each guest.
The bathrooms were fully equipped with a toilet, bidet, shower, tub, and sink. They also had shampoo, conditioner, and wash provided for use along with a handful of other toiletries to use before bed while cleaning up after your day in the city.
The Restaurant
Even for those who are not staying with them, the Warren Street Hotel is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike due to their dining! As a guest, you get the best of both worlds as you’re already at the hot place to be!
The Warren Street Hotel Bar & Restaurant is situated on the first floor of the hotel directly to the right of the concierge & check-in services. It’s decor is in line with the rest of the hotel in that it is colorful and full of bright energy – making it a fun meal out for everyone involved!
The Amenities
Aside from the restaurant, the hotel also has multiple common spaces for guests to unwind and enjoy downtime in. Beautifully and uniquely decorated, there is a reading room that is a great place to sit by the fire and enjoy a book or a game with a friend. The Warren Street Hotel really makes every minute special – as even your downtime / waiting time can be spent in a beautiful environment!
The entire hotel strikes such a good balance between feeling like home and feeling like a brand new experience all at once – it really is a great place for hosting even if not all of your guests end up staying at the hotel with you!
Other amenities offered at the hotel include a fitness center, free wifi, parking (hard to come by in NYC!), happy hour, and 24/7 concierge services.
The Awards
The Warren Street Hotel has won two “Michelin Keys” (the hotel equivalent of a Michelin Star) to date, and given the above it’s easy to see why. Overall, I absolutely recommend booking a stay at the Warren Street Hotel. I think it is the perfect destination if you are looking to treat yourself to relaxing weekend away, if you are looking for a special occasion hotel to turn a trip into a special memory, or if you are looking to host a memorable party like we did! Any way you spin it, you can’t go wrong at this hotel.
